Ignite with art / trail of artistic courage
Brno Art Week’s igniting one-day event celebrating the 100th anniversary of Igor Zhoř’s birth invites you to go wild with action artists. Ten immersive stations have been prepared by the art education departments in Brno (Radek Horáček, Marta Kovářová, Tereza Sikorová, Jana Francová, Šimon Kříž), Prague (Jan Pfeifer) and Olomouc (Vladimír Havlík) in cooperation with FAVU (Bára Klímová and students of the Environment Studio) and ZUŠ F. Jílka v Brně (Marta Křížová a Jan Buchta).
Participants of the trail will, for example, rhyming boring art history, become tailors of a new era, try out moving in someone else’s skin, check Zhoř’s Instruction scheets, mark out the space with sticks, jumping for joy with hats and soak up the atmosphere of action creation courses.
