What effect do dreams have on our perception of the world?
Enter the magical realm of images with us. Discover the stories in the colourful paintings of Veronika Holcova, which will open the door to the boundless world of art. We will get acquainted with her paintings and look for familiar and unfamiliar outlines in the liquid spots. We will become the creators of our fairytale world, where everything is possible, and embark on an exciting journey through the galleries.
This educational program for elementary school students will present a current exhibition by a contemporary artist full of fairy tale motifs and dreamlike associations. In addition, activities will focus on exploring symbols, working with one’s own imagination, and connecting natural motifs with personal ones. Pupils will explore their own imagination and the connections between humans and the environment, uncovering them in the layers of the paintings.
The program falls under the Arts and Culture curriculum area. The cross-cutting themes are Personal and Social Education and Environmental Education. The educational programme was created by students Adéla Bohdanská and Bára Gehringerová from the field of Gallery Pedagogy and Art Mediation from the Department of Art Education at PdF MU under the guidance of Františka Orságová.

Price: free of charge at Brno Art Week, afterwards 50 CZK per participant
