Joint tour From the Edge to the Centre in English and Czech with the creators live!

from Brno, will use their voices to guide you from the excluded locality of Cejl to the centre of Brno’s galleries and art in public space, where different cultures and intentions collide. We’ll peek into the Museum of Roma Culture, inhabit Katka Šedá’s BrnoX living room, freeze in the mysterious backyard of the Káznice, walk among the mega murals of the Municipal Gallery on Bratislavská Street, find the youngest gallery on Cejl, find out what gentrification can do, what happened to Zeman’s café, what everything can be a sculpture in a park on a wheelbarrow, and why the House of Art is so inhumanly large.

This trail can also be visited independently outside of Mondays by prior reservation at the Museum of Romani Culture pruvodce@rommuz.cz, +420 778 761 848, and in Káznice at david@tripitaka.cz, +420 725 741 376, until the end of June 2024.

The audio guides are suitable for school groups, individuals and the general public. The trails are free and end with a competition in which you can win gifts from Brno galleries. We will announce the winners on the Tour De Galleries FB at the end of June 2025.
