CRAZY POP!: Educational programme for the exhibition of Ponomarevovy

The programme in the exhibition by the sister duo of young female artists focuses on the connections between pop culture and fine art, the recycling of materials and the creative expression of emotions. We connect the modern virtual world with the world of fantasy by using emoticons, which we use today to express our feelings in the online space. Participants will explore how emoticons and virtual communication are influencing the visual arts, and experience for themselves how to use recycled materials like ordinary cardboard to bring this modern form of communication to life in the real world and in the world’s largest cardboard amusement park!

The programme falls within the educational area of Art and Culture. The cross-cutting themes are Personal and Social Education and Environmental Education.

Price: free in Brno Art Week, afterwards 50 CZK per participant
